Do I need a developer or coding knowledge to use this?+
The Starter template requires basic comfort with editing a text file — swapping out placeholder text like [Your Name] with your actual details. No coding required. The Professional and Premium packages include full setup so you don’t need to touch the code at all.
Where do I host it?+
It’s a single HTML file that works on any web host. We recommend Netlify (free tier available) or GitHub Pages for the easiest setup. The Professional and Premium packages include hosting configuration as part of setup.
Is the market data accurate and up to date?+
The template ships with sample market data for the 8 counties. Mortgage rate data is sourced directly from Freddie Mac’s PMMS and reflects real published weekly rates. Market data (prices, DOM, inventory) should be updated monthly with your MLS data. Starter and Professional buyers can do this themselves using the included update tools — or add the Site Maintenance plan ($79/mo) and we handle it for you. Premium clients receive monthly updates as part of their plan.
Can I use this for counties outside the default coverage area?+
The template ships pre-configured for 8 counties. Custom versions for other regions or states are available — contact us to discuss a custom quote.
Does this include IDX or MLS listings?+
The template does not include live MLS listings — IDX requires a separate MLS feed license and third-party integration. The template is designed to work alongside your existing IDX provider; the “View Listings” button can link to your IDX page or any listing platform.
Is there a refund policy?+
Due to the digital nature of the product, all sales are final. We encourage you to review the live demo thoroughly before purchasing. If you have questions about fit for your use case, reach out before buying.
How does the newsletter service work?+
Each month we write a professional, market-specific newsletter using the latest data from your website. We deliver it as a Mailchimp-ready email you can send to your list with one click. Standard and Premium newsletter plans include full personalization with your name and branding. The Standard newsletter is included as part of the Premium website plan at no extra charge.
Do I need a Mailchimp account for the newsletter service?+
Yes — a free Mailchimp account is required. The free tier supports up to 500 contacts and 1,000 sends per month, which is plenty for most solo agents. Standard and Premium plans include Mailchimp setup assistance.
What happens if I cancel the Premium monthly plan?+
We require 30 days written notice sent to
[email protected]. Upon cancellation, TMJP delivers a complete Professional-tier handoff package — all source files, build tools, and deployment scripts — plus a 30-minute handoff call so you can manage the site yourself going forward. Your site stays live throughout and after the process since it’s hosted on your own Netlify account. There are no cancellation fees, and the setup fee is non-refundable.
What does the Site Maintenance plan include?+
The $79/mo maintenance plan is designed for Starter and Professional buyers who want TMJP to handle their ongoing data updates. It includes monthly MLS data updates for all 8 counties, weekly mortgage rate monitoring, an annual Census demographics refresh each October, site rebuild and redeploy after every update, priority email support with a 1 business day response time, and minor copy or content updates on request. It does not include the newsletter service, which is available separately or bundled in the Premium plan.
Can I cancel the newsletter subscription?+
Yes, you can cancel anytime with 30 days written notice to
[email protected]. There are no long-term contracts or cancellation fees. If you are on the Premium plan, cancelling the monthly plan covers both the maintenance and newsletter service — see the Premium cancellation FAQ above.
